So far in the book there are a few different places Craig routinely goes to, his friend Aaron's house, school, home, and his therapists office. He likes to go to his friends house because it's simple and they just hang out. Craig likes things simple because he can't handle things that are too complicated. During dinner his mom talks about what she did during the day and he thinks, "I'm jealous of her. Can you be jealous of your mom for
being able to handle things? I couldn't take the day off, take a dog to the vet, and cook dinner. That's like three times too much stuff for me to get done in one day. How am I ever going to have my own house?" (Vizzini 42). There's also a similar scene in the movie which is below.
I like how you utilized quotes in order to back up what you are saying about the main character, as well as to give us a glimpse into the characters mind. This sounds like a really good book from what you have posted.
ReplyDeleteI like how you put in a little section from the movie so the readers can really visualize it better. I will have to steal this book from you and read it sometime :D
